Throwaway Kids Foundation and People United for Children proudly
sponsor A Day of Remembrance in honor of all the children supervised by or
died in the child welfare system across the country. Set to take place on
June 7th, 2006 @ 11:00am New York families will meet New Jersey families at
the George Washington Bridge for a moment of silence to begin a coalition
to bring light and change. The event will culminate with a wreath being dropped
in the water for the children that died or were abused and neglected in the
system, followed by a press conference at George Washington Bridge Park on
Cabrini Blvd. between 178th & 179th Street in Manhattan.
